Per The Pokémon Company International, refunds are now available, less a processing fee, for registered TCG, VGC, and GO competitors who are no longer planning to attend the 2025 North America International Championships in New Orleans.
- For refunds submitted through 11:59 pm CDT on Wednesday, May 21, a 20% processing fee will be applied and deducted from the amount refunded.
- For refunds submitted May 22 through 11:59 pm CDT on Wednesday, June 4, a 40% processing fee will be applied and deducted from the amount refunded.
- Beginning 12:00 am GMT on Thursday, June 5, refunds will no longer be available.
Note: Competitor registrations are non-transferable and refunds processed do not suggest or guarantee additional space will be available for any tournament. IF there is opportunity to reopen registration, an announcement will be shared via RK9's social media in advance.
In order to initiate a refund for the 2025 North America Pokémon International Championship, navigate to your Player Dashboard and select the appropriate tournament under My Registrations.
Once you're there, select Request refund under Tournament Milestones.
Underneath your Player registration details, you'll find a yellow button to Cancel registration and initiate refund.
You'll see the blue box (pictured below) appear.
After reviewing the refund policy, enter your Player ID to continue.
Please include your reason, check the checkbox, and select Process refund.
Once complete, you'll find yourself back at the Event Details page with a green Registration removed banner at the top (pictured below). You'll also see details about the amount refunded and receive an email confirmation of your refund and cancellation. Note that refunds will take 5-10 business days to appear on the charging card's account statement.
