This article is intended to help you understand what the tournament drop status in your Player Tournament Dashboard means.

Message Meaning
You have been dropped from the tournament. This may be due to choosing to drop, no-showing your match, or not qualifying for Phase 2 of your tournament. If you believe this is in error, report to the Hive immediately. Most tournaments* will show this message when you've been removed from the tournament.
You have chosen to drop from the tournament. Enjoy your day! Tournaments with enhanced messaging will show this message when you've voluntarily dropped from the tournament.
As a result of no-showing your match, you have been dropped from the tournament. If you want to re-enter the tournament, or you believe this is in error, report to the Hive immediately. Tournaments with enhanced messaging will show this message If a player is paired for a round and does not report to the match, they will see this message.

*For most Pokémon tournaments, this message will be shown to anyone who has been removed from the tournament. Examples include voluntarily dropping, not showing up to a match, or most commonly, not qualifying for Phase 2 of the tournament.

Note: If you notice any message about dropping during a tournament and did not intend to drop from the tournament, report to the Hive (at the match slip turn-in area) immediately!
