Q: When will open registration begin for players and spectators?
A: For players, registration opens on April 14, 2026 at 7:00pm CDT
- Wave 1: April 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (5pm PDT/1am April 15 GMT)
- Wave 2: April 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CDT (7am PDT/3pm GMT)
For spectators, registration opens on April 15, 2026 at 7:00pm CDT (5pm PDT/1am April 16 GMT).
Q: Will there be more than one registration wave?
A: Yes, there will be two waves:
- Wave 1: April 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (5pm PDT/1am April 15 GMT)
- Wave 2: April 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CDT (7am PDT/3pm GMT)
Q: When does event registration close?
A: Registration for players will close on June 7, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT, or when passes sell out for their division. Spectator passes are available until they are sold-out.
Q: Where can I purchase spectator passes?
A: RK9 Labs is not responsible for selling spectator passes for NAIC. The registration link for spectators can be found at the official NAIC website.
Q: If I have questions about purchased spectator badges, who do I ask?
A: All spectator related questions should be directed to TPCi Customer Support. Please note: RK9 Labs cannot help with inquiries regarding purchased spectator orders.
Q: If I have questions about my complimentary parent/guardian pass, who do I ask?
A: Questions about parent/guardian passes should be directed to RK9 Labs Customer support (support.rk9.gg). Parents/guardians should be familiar with the Parent, Guardian & Chaperone Expectations available in Section 6 of the Play! Pokémon Standards of Conduct document.
A: The refund policy for this event is available in your confirmation email. For most tournaments, competitor refunds are available through 11:59pm CDT on Sunday, June 7, 2026, less a processing fee. There will be a 20% processing fee charged through 11:59pm CDT on Wednesday, May 27, and a 40% processing fee charged May 28 through 11:59pm CDT on Sunday, June 7. There are no refunds available after June 7, 2026. Your refund amount will be the registration fee paid minus the processing fee. Q: What do I need to pick up my badge?
A: Competitors must provide their name, Play! Pokémon Player ID, and valid government issued photo identification that matches the name on their badge. Competitors 16 and under must have a parent or guardian present with valid government issued photo identification to pick up their badge. Please see Section 6 of the Play! Pokémon Standards of Conduct for Parent, Guardian & Chaperone Expectations.
A: Badge pickup will reopen on Friday, June 12 at 7:00am CDT. If you need to pick up your badge Friday morning, we recommend arriving before badge pickup opens.
Q: If I am a competitor and can no longer attend, can I still receive my welcome kit?
A: All competitors must be present to pick up their welcome kit. Welcome kits may not be picked up by someone else on a competitor's behalf.
Q: If I am a spectator and can no longer attend, am I able to receive a refund?
A: If you registered as a spectator for NAIC, you will need to contact TPCi Customer Support to submit your request. Please note: RK9 Labs cannot help with inquiries regarding purchased spectator orders.
Q: Where do I pick-up my badge/check-in for the event?
A: Badges for this event will be picked up on-site at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO) or in advance at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
Q: When does deck/team list submission open for competitors?
A: Deck & team list submission opens on Sunday, June 7, 2026. This information can also be viewed via your Player Tournament Dashboard. To access the Player Tournament Dashboard on RK9.gg, go to the Player Dashboard, and click on the tournament name to go to the Player Tournament Dashboard.
Q: When does deck/team list submission close for competitors?
A: Deck & team list submission closes at 6:00am CDT on Friday, June 12, 2026 for most competitors. This information can also be viewed via your Player Tournament Dashboard. Q: Can I transfer my registration to another player?
A: Per the online registration & confirmation details on RK9.gg, your registration is subject to specific refund and non-transferable terms. You may not transfer your registration to another player.
Q: Will I receive anything for my purchase through the mail or in advance of the event?
A: You will not receive any physical items before the event takes place. You will, however, receive email confirmation that your registration for this event was successful. Registered attendees will also be emailed a QR code one week prior to the event to enable expedited on-site check in. Photo identification that matches the name on your badge is required to collect your badge.
Q: Why do I need my birth date to register?
A: Your birthdate is used to make sure you register for the correct age division for your event, and where applicable, the statements you must agree to in order to compete in the event. Without the ability to confirm your birth date, you cannot register online for any event.
